The intention of Chullachaqui
The intention of Chullachaqui
Chullachaqui was created as a portal into discernment, boundaries, and deeper self-trust. The artwork carries the feeling of moving through the forest with heightened awareness, where every turn asks you to listen more closely, question what you are being shown, and remain rooted in your own knowing. It holds the frequency of protection, truth, accountability, and the kind of strength that is forged by learning how to find your way through uncertainty.
A place to write when you are running through the mazes of the mind and need somewhere to land, or when you are ready to dive deeper into yourself, move beneath the noise, and find the truth waiting underneath it.
The song inside
The song inside
Each VESSELA LUMINA journal carries a poem created in relationship with the artwork on its cover. Chullachaqui does things a little differently. He likes riddles and songs, and he has never been particularly interested in playing by the rules.
The piece inside this journal is a song rather than a poem. It came through from Chullachaqui while Zella Taj was in the jungle working with him and serves as a portal into his worlds. Singing it becomes a way of entering into relationship with the medicine of the piece, calling forward deeper introspection, discernment, strength, and the backbone of the warrior.
Materials and finish
Materials and finish
The cover is finished in a velvet ultra-matte laminate with a soft, refined texture that feels intimate in the hand. Each journal measures 7.5" × 10" and contains 48 cream-toned, acid-free pages available in blank, lined, or bullet styles, created for writing, sketching, planning, prayer, reflection, and whatever else asks to be given form.
The pages are glue-bound, so we recommend handling the binding gently as you write. Individual pages can also be carefully removed if you wish to carry a note, prayer, drawing, or reflection with you. Made to rest beautifully on the altar, bedside, or desk, and to walk with you through the rituals of everyday life.

A place to find your way through
There are seasons when the mind feels like a forest with too many paths. Thoughts loop, questions multiply, and it becomes difficult to tell instinct from fear, truth from projection, or intuition from noise. Chullachaqui was made for those moments—the ones that ask you to slow down, listen more carefully, and become deeply honest with yourself.
This journal offers a place to follow the thread. To write until the noise begins to separate from what you actually know. To ask harder questions, notice where you are abandoning your own boundaries, and let the page become somewhere you can return to yourself without needing to have the answer before you begin.
For the one entering the maze
This is for the person willing to look beneath the obvious answer. The one learning to trust their instincts, strengthen their boundaries, and remain anchored in themselves even when the path becomes unclear. It is for the moments when something feels off but you cannot yet name why, and for the deeper inner work that asks you to stay present long enough for the truth to reveal itself.
Chullachaqui does not ask for perfection. He asks for awareness. Let this journal walk with you through uncertainty, shadow work, difficult decisions, changing relationships, and the places within yourself that you are finally ready to explore without turning away.
Let the page sharpen your discernment
There is an alertness in Chullachaqui. The many eyes, the forest, the spiral, the coded forms—everything feels awake, watching, testing, asking you to notice what you might otherwise overlook. This journal is for the moments when you need to pay closer attention to what is happening around you and within you.
Use these pages to question what feels unclear, name what your body is picking up on, and explore the places where your boundaries, instincts, or judgment are being challenged. Let the page become a place where you can slow down enough to see what is actually there, rather than what you hoped, feared, or assumed was there.
