What is VESSELA LUMINA?
VESSELA LUMINA is an intentional art brand creating journals, textiles, prints, accessories, and home objects from original artwork by Zella Taj. Each piece is designed to bring beauty, meaning, and energetic presence into your everyday life.
What does “Make your life into an altar” mean?
To us, an altar is not only a place. It is a way of living with intention. The objects you touch, see, carry, write in, rest with, and return to can shape the energy of your daily life. VESSELA LUMINA creates pieces that help you surround yourself with beauty, remembrance, and purpose.
Is the artwork original?
Yes. Every VESSELA LUMINA piece begins with original artwork created by Zella Taj. The artwork is then transformed into functional pieces such as journals, blankets, pillows, bags, prints, and home objects.
Are your products handmade?
VESSELA LUMINA begins with original handmade artwork. Some pieces are then produced through trusted production partners who help transform the artwork into high-quality functional objects. This allows the work to move from original art into pieces you can live with, carry, write in, and place in your home.
Can I purchase original artwork?
Yes. Original artwork on canvas and larger original pieces may be available by inquiry. Please email info@vesselalumina.com to ask about current availability, commissions, or custom artwork.

What kinds of products do you sell?
VESSELA LUMINA offers original art journals, throw blankets, pillows, art prints, bags, home objects, and select ritual-inspired pieces. Each item is created to carry the visual and energetic language of the original artwork into daily life.
What makes your journals special?
Each journal features original artwork on the cover and includes a unique poem created specifically for that design. Our journals are made with 48 cream-toned, acid-free pages and are available in different page styles such as blank, lined, or bullet pages depending on the product.
What can I use the journals for?
Our journals can be used for reflection, sketching, prayer, planning, dreamwork, creative writing, morning pages, ritual notes, or everyday thoughts. They are made to be both functional and beautiful, something you can return to again and again.
Are the blankets soft?
Yes. Our throw blankets are designed to be soft, warm, and comforting while also serving as artful home pieces. They are made to bring color, texture, and presence to beds, sofas, reading spaces, meditation corners, and living areas.
Are the bags vegan leather?
Select VESSELA LUMINA bags, including our art backpacks and crossbody styles, are made with vegan leather. Please check the product description on each page for specific material details.
Are colors exactly the same as shown online?
We do our best to photograph and display each piece as accurately as possible. Slight color variations may occur due to screen settings, lighting, material texture, and production processes.
Ordering & Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit cards and the payment options shown at checkout, including secure express checkout methods when available.
Is checkout secure?
Yes. All payments are processed through Shopify’s secure checkout system, which protects your payment information and personal details.
Can I use a discount code?
Yes. Discount codes can be entered at checkout. Only one discount code may be used per order unless otherwise stated.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
Because many of our pieces are made to order, please contact us as soon as possible at info@vesselalumina.com if you need to request a change. We cannot guarantee edits or cancellations once production has begun.
Shipping & Delivery
Where do you ship?
VESSELA LUMINA ships worldwide where available. Shipping options and rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and order details.
How long does shipping take?
Many items begin production after your order is placed. Average processing and production times vary by product, but most orders typically move into fulfillment within 1–7 business days after production begins. Delivery time depends on your shipping location and carrier.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we support international shipping where available. International customers may be responsible for customs fees, duties, VAT, or import taxes required by their country.
Do you ship to P.O. boxes?
Some items may be eligible for P.O. box delivery depending on the carrier and product type. Please make sure your shipping address is accurate at checkout.
Do you ship to military APO/FPO addresses?
At this time, we are unable to ship to military APO/FPO addresses.
How can I track my order?
Once your order ships, you will receive tracking information by email.
Returns, Exchanges & Damages
What is your return policy?
Because many VESSELA LUMINA pieces are made to order, all sales are final unless otherwise stated. Please review product details, sizing, colors, and materials carefully before purchasing.
Why are sales final?
Our made-to-order approach helps reduce waste and supports more intentional production. Each piece is created specifically after an order is placed, rather than mass-produced in excess inventory.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Please contact us at info@vesselalumina.com as soon as possible with your order number and clear photos of the damaged item and packaging. We will review the issue and help guide you through the next steps.
What if I receive the wrong item?
If you believe you received the wrong item, please email info@vesselalumina.com with your order number and photos of what you received so we can review and support you.
Can I exchange an item?
Because our products are often made to order, we generally do not offer exchanges. Please contact us before ordering if you have questions about size, material, or product details.
